How it works

Three clicks, and the timing is untouched.

01

Drop a subtitle file

SRT, ASS, VTT or SSA — anything up to 10 MB. The file is parsed in the browser, not uploaded.

02

Choose the target

Pick SRT, ASS, VTT or plain TXT. The converted text updates the moment you switch formats.

03

Download

One click saves the file with the matching extension, ready for any editor or video platform.

Questions

Frequently Asked

Is there a file size limit?

Yes — 10 MB per subtitle file. That covers roughly 300,000 lines, far more than a feature film needs.

Does converting keep the styling?

Text and timing are always carried over. SRT, VTT and TXT cannot store fonts or colours, so ASS styling is flattened when you convert to them; converting back to ASS applies clean defaults.

Are the subtitles uploaded anywhere?

No. Parsing and rendering both run in your browser, so the dialogue never leaves your device.
